The degree to which an innovation is perceived as better than what is currently being done.   What are the gaps in current practice that the innovation will address?       How can relative advantage be promoted?The degree to which an innovation is perceived as being consistent with the existing values, past experiences, and needs of the potential adopters.   Does the innovation match the prevailing work culture or habits?     Who might support and who will resist the adoption of this innovation?        
ComplexityTrialability
The degree to which an innovation is perceived as difficult to understand, do, or use.   Describe whether the innovation is perceived to make life easier or harder for the primary user?       How might you convince staff that the innovation is not too difficult to understand, use or do?  The degree to which an innovation may be experimented with on a limited basis.   1. How could the innovation be “pilot-tested”?         2. What are potential barriers? How can they be overcome?
Observability
The degree to which the results of an innovation are visible to others.   How visible by nature is this innovation?       How can work process and outcomes associated with this innovation be made more visible?
