Literature Review
The social life in the UAE has changed over the years. There is much that is being evident over the years in reference to the social norms that characterize the Arabic world in general. Much diversion seems to take place with time. It is obvious that families are losing the importance they played in Arabic communities with time. Some cultural and social issues have come in place an element that has brought a major diversification of what is happening in the recent past. The rise of divorce and nuclear families are some of the issues that seem to become more dominant with time. It is an element of confusion that has brought a more specific element of influence in the given strategies.[2] The contributions that are set in place have brought a new scope of cultural and social norms opposite from what would have been in place in the given platforms. Major social changes have been evident in the UAE societies that probe new aspects of life at all levels.[3] It is an element that requires to be managed and realized in a modest way. The level of connection that is set in place is an element of communication that will offer a more realistic scope to align all the aspects of communication within the goals of influence at large.
Marriages in the UAE in the past were seen as family affairs. In the development and presentation of the same aspects of family affairs, the marriage did not involve major preparations and hence little expenses were incurred. The importance of a wedding was asserted to the couples that were in the event to be united. The culture of marriage has been changing with time in the region. Much emphasis is now being evident on the way a wedding as an event takes place. It is obvious that much of the processes that have been characterized marriage are all in reference to the level of communication that the society has come to attach to the entire process. The continuity marriage cultural practices have brought a new way of communication that initiates the common levels of commitment of the community to the way processes take place in general. It is a common practice that marriage is given a level of excellence that suits the wealth or affluence of the community participating.[4] The nature of weddings that are now happening is a show of how one is able to host many guests and feed them. The culture has brought many challenges to most young people in the UAE.
There are delayed marriages due to the fear of not making a hallmark in the community by the level of affluence and significance a wedding would be in the given region. The issue is brought about by the fact that some people lack the required capital that would help create and host a huge wedding celebration.[5] The challenge is now a national disaster as most states in UAE have brought a wedding fund that the government is granting the willing young people to marry in the right time. There is much that is to be evident if better management strategies will not be in place. The capital required to wed is huge and unmanageable in most cases. It is a challenge that has brought a completely new culture in the recent past. The level of commitment that is evident among young people is a challenge that will go a step higher in accreting the need to have families. Different strategies have to be initiated to help master the need to have a common ground that will help the given couples the power to make their rightful decisions in reference to their marriage commitments. The initiative by the UAE government to offer wedding funds is to bridge the gap between the marriage and the uncertainties that have come with the importance that is now attached to a big wedding.
In the recent past, marriage has changed their importance with many incidences of divorce. The community is continually accepting divorce as part of the cultural practices an element that was not evident in the past. There is a bigger problem that has come up with the realization of marriage practices.[6] There is a need to know the exact way of communication that couples have developed and devised over the years. The nature of processes that have characterized the nature of activities in place is all about the development of better systems that are in line with the realization of a specific level of commitment as a community.[7] The cultural practices in the past prohibited the separation of married people under all circumstances. However, there is an alienation of processes on how the community is taking the different issues of marriage in general. The problem has brought a core differentiation of gender roles in the current marriage. Proper management of marriages has been undertaken to create a more realistic way of creating unison in the relevant families. The idea is to have a common way to handle the given systems that are required for the completion of marriage rituals in a ceremonial way. It is easy to get swayed by the level of affluence of other families and end up in disappointments as a couple.
Women have gotten new roles in weddings and marriage at large. Decision making in the Arabic countries was set up by the specific cultural practices in preference to men and not women. In the current world, there is a major controversy that seems to take over the ordinary in the UAE states. Most marriages have been delayed and done as per the will of the women in context. Women have a new role in defining when and how they like to be wed in their lives. The concern is a new culture that has brought a new way of undertaking things in the given alienation. There is a concern that is mastered to create a major way of communication that sets a new alienation of all referenced goals.[8] It is better to create a more specific strategy that will allow the couple to weigh options at hand. There is a new culture that seems to value the role of women on top of that of men as it has been the culture. Better decision-making strategies have been set up in place to help manage the specific elements of interest in the given ways of communication. There is a need to understand the particular goals that are necessitated with gender roles in marriage.
Discussion
The New Trend of Family Setups
UAE is experiencing major social and cultural changes over time in the recent past. There is much that is being witnessed as far as social domains of life are being evident in the community. The structural alignment of processes that are in place has brought a new level of communication and commitment in the society in a more diversified way. The nature of communities that are in place has brought a new level of commitment that strategizes the concepts of influence in all dimensions. The idea that the UAE social nature of community is changing is true and depicts the true orientation of life in the given parameters.[9] There are many revolutions that economy and globalization have brought in UAE that depict a level of impact that is makeable in the given placements. The contributions of globalization have brought new cultural and social orientations in the Arabic societies in the given scopes. The necessities of change have been evident over time. Orientation changes that have been evident with time have brought a new face of influence in the community as time has passed. The optional ways of deviating from the reality of life have brought a new way of communication and highlighting social aspects of life in the UAE.
Family Structure
Family lineups have come to change with time. There is more than has been evident with time as families are getting smaller and smaller with time. Most couples are now opting to live as a nuclear home disregarding the issues of grandparents to their children. The amount of emphasis that has come up over time is an element of influence that shows an elementary change of processes that make it possible to realize the given concepts. The idea is all about the development of better systems that aid in the realization of a more specific way of commitment in a family setup.[10] As time goes on the number of family members living together are changing tremendously. There are fewer family members who are evident in every single family as new couples are opting to love away from the bigger family setup that has been the traditional value of marriage and society in the UAE. Families are shrinking and becoming more nuclear with a limited number of children per couple. It is obvious that the urban setup is what has brought the new family setting to change over the years. In the past, most families in the UAE were extended having many siblings under one roof. The case has changed with time with most aged people being in rural areas that host a small percentage of new couples.
Family members have no attachments with the extended families in the present UAE as it has been the case. The value of extended family obsession has now come to end with time. The disposition of family alienations that are now in place has brought a completely different alienation that is all about the contributions of the society in the given standards. It is obvious that at every level of connection the family setting should offer the given solutions. The case is not so as the different systems that have been set in a place realizes the different scopes of concern in any given level of association as a community.[11] The option nuclear families is not a new practice in UAE as it was ten years ago. Most families are now living separately the moment new couples emerge in the family. Statistics show that among the families the only way to define their new social status is living and raising their children away from their relatives. It is a new culture that is evident in the UAE societies.[12] When a couple weds the other step is to move their way to form a new family away from the extended social setup. The scope is to create a more specific standard that is useful to the given levels of communication. The idea is all about the nature of social norms that make up society.
Social Interactions the Role of Elderly within the Family
As time passes the role of elderly in UAE is diminishing in defining social interactions. The contributions of the community have brought a completely new alienation as young generations have adopted new global cultures that do not value the role of the elderly in redefining the social interactions. Social interactions are now set as part of individual settings that are an element of influence at all dimensions. It is obvious that a better way of communication has already been set up to develop a completely new way of indulgence as a society. Grandparents in UAE are now lacking their social and cultural value as new roles are now in place. The rise of nuclear families has brought the distancing of new couples from their parents and hence failed elderly people roles.[13] The concern has been coming up with time till date when most of the social roles that were brought by elderly interacting with young people has slowly vanished in the community. It is all about the developmental goals that initiate the correct diversion of roles that are made a possibility by interacting between the couples, children and grandparents. In every level of interaction, the amount of time that is spent in the current UAE societies has limited an element that has led to a loss of value of social interactions.
The level of interaction in social events has now come to be different altogether. It is fascinating to see how different individuals have been characterized by the level of commitment that illustrates the value of communication that is illustrative in nature. The end goal of any level of commitment is the connections that have to cope with the new standards that will be illustrative in nature. The community acceptance of social interactions at a different orientation than the norms has been attributed by technology. Technology seems to distort the social interactions that gave a value of the family through the elderly in society. Much time is spent social media in the present age not as it has been in the past.[14] The continued escalation of the ideologies that illustrates the community involvements in a gradual manner. There is a change that has continued to emerge with time as new social setups are coming up within the family domains. Differentiation of specific systems that are now in place continues to bring a new wave in the society an element that continues to create issues of communication as it is in other areas of the world. The Arabic cultural and social norms in UAE are drastically changing an element that is defining the social interactions and participation in nature.
Marriage
In the UAE marriages have been a communal but non-expensive affair in the past. Over the years the value attached to marriages has continued to change an element that shows major deviations from the reality. It is all about the developments that make it hard to devolve the cultural values of society. Marriages have been mostly a family affair and not a publicized image as it is seen in the recent past. The nature of weddings that are evident today is a complete opposite of what was evident in the past. Arabic cultures in terms of value attached to marriage seem to take a completely new orientation.[15] The issue is all about the elevation of cultural diversion from reality to the current state of affairs in the given scope of communication. It is necessary to advance within the constructs of time as evolutions have been evident with time. Marriage ceremonies in the past have been attached to the cultural value and not what people see in public in the long run. The bride and groom and a major role to make the marriage ceremony a success by living happily and together forever after the marriage union is initiated.
There is a new culture of setting new standards in marriage ceremonies that incorporates major deficits that have not been common in the UAE social interactions and settings. The purposeful way of communication that has been set up recently is all about the complete amplification of issues that are set in reference to the community adherence to the effects of global cultural diversification.[16] As a matter of indulgence in foreign cultures, the economic dynamism that offers a different array of actions shows that marriage ceremonies are now huge and with a diverse value attached to them.[17] The traditional value of marriage ceremonies is slowly fainting with major adoption of superficial attachment of fame and not the significance of marriage as an institution in the society. The common goals of commitment that have to be managed create a specific way of involvement and hence induce the level of communication and hence the rivalries in ceremonies that connect with marriages. The issue is that most procedures that work hand in hand with the UAE culture are an attachment of community value and attachment to social interactions as part of the community with time.[18] Defining the level of interaction that social norms have diverted it is obvious that our systems in place are ideal for the realization of a common ground of argumentation in the marriage matters.
Huge Budgets in Weddings
Most couples have gone a step higher in accessing loans that have been a struggle to them five to ten years down the line. It is a problem that has been brought by the fact that the level of expenditure in the marriage ceremonies is beyond most of the couple’s financial ability. It is a wave of peer pressure that seems to take over the UAE as a community at large. The conceptualization of the particular consensus that has been brought by the different parameters is all about the utilization of a more precise way to entertain guests that are invited to the wedding parties. The new culture is actually a development that strategizes the corrective ways of commitment that illustrate the specific scope of expenditures that seems to accompany most weddings in the UAE. By average most marriage parties involves over 500 guests.[19] The level of expenses that connect with these budgets makes it hard to achieve some of the given levels of commitment as a community. The idea is to have a common scope of connections that illustrates the way UAE couples showcase their marriages to the public.
Divorce on the Rise
Among the emirates divorce was not a common event in the community. However, as time moved on there has been common progress that has come in the occurrence of marriages. There a major change that is continually taking a toll on how social interactions take place in society. It is a major goal that continues to create more struggle in the given parameters. It is evident that the cultural erosion on the UAE marriage culture has brought a completely new orientation of the societies as far as marriage is concerning. It is an element of a common scope that is set to diversify the common goals. In the event of creating the correct systems the level of inclusion in the given standards, it is obvious that the level of couples that are divorcing is on the rise.[20] The aspect is an indicator that there is a new revolution that marriages are undergoing in the present world. The concern is that all the aspects of family setup are diverging and not coming up with a common goal that is realistic in nature. There are trend men and women not staying in marriage like it was in the past. Independence in terms of financial stability of either woman or man in a family has been the major trigger to most marital battles that are in place. With time it may be impossible to connect with the given systems that aid in the correlation of a more specific level of valuing marriage in the region.
Culture of Delayed Marriages
Many people in the UAE are now not in rush to get married especially the women. The erosion of marriage partner selection has continued to vanish in United Arab Emirates societies.[21] The idea to make an informed decision of who to marry in the community is an element that seems to bring a new order of how marriages take place. Delays in marriage are now in place an element that makes it hard to create a common base on how the given systems take place in all parameters. It is a common problem that is characterizing the level of inclusion in marriage matters of most couples. Most believe that as they delay in marriage it will be easy to know how to how to manage marital issues and hence low rates of divorce as they are more mature.
Conclusion
There is a major revolution that has been evident on how marriages and other social interactions are changing from what was seen as the common practice in UAE over the years with a bigger percentage of couples opting to enter into huge debts to fund their wedding parties leaving them with struggle and financial disorientation later in life. Developments have been noted within the last few years in the way Arabic marriages are revolutionizing with time. The onset of a new course of actions in terms of sizes of weddings has brought new ways of communications in line with the concepts of influence in the given progressions. There are many offsetting factors that seem to build a different way of doing things in the UAE in terms of marriages and the whole processes. The economy has impacted how families are oriented in the current UAE. A big change is now evident in the way weddings are taking place as compared to how it used to happen in the past. New social issues have come in place as divorce, delayed marriage, and overspending in marriage parties. It is a culture that has brought major alterations of how social elements of the community progresses with time.
