You are required to write a Theoretical Paper. For this project you will choose to write about one theorist from the course. You will post your topic to our Discussion Board early in the course. The Theoretical Paper will be approximately 10-12 pages long and you will cite at least ten outside sources found in refereed academic journals or academic books. When your paper is due, you will post it to a Turnitin link under the Assignments tab.
You have TWO choices:
1) You may pick ONE human development (social, psychological, biological) theorist/theory you are interested in and write about their theory/theories. You will cite at least 10 outside sources found in refereed academic journals and/or academic books and summarize them thoughtfully.
I will explore Freud’s psychoanalytic theory, focusing on how early childhood experiences shape personality development. I’ll examine the stages of psychosexual development and the role of the id, ego, and superego.
